A complete support request helps us reproduce the problem and answer without unnecessary follow-up questions.

Send your request

Email support@stackswork.com. Messages sent to this address go directly to the stackswork support desk. Use the product name and a short description of the issue in the subject line.

Start with the product

Include the exact stackswork product name and the installed product version. If you are using a Project, name the Project and list the required Stacks that are installed.

Describe the environment

For Stacks and Projects, include the Stacks App version and macOS version. For a TCMS 3 Extension, include the Total CMS 3 version, PHP version, and hosting environment when relevant. For Beam, include the Beam version and identify the failed deployment step.

Explain what happened

Write the shortest sequence of actions that reproduces the issue. Describe what you expected and what happened instead. Copy the exact error message rather than paraphrasing it.

Add useful evidence

Attach a focused screenshot or short screen recording when the issue is visual. For Beam or Total CMS 3 problems, include the relevant diagnostic or log excerpt. Remove unrelated personal information before sending it.

Tell us what you already tried

List the checks or fixes you attempted, such as restarting Stacks App, testing another browser, clearing a cache, or running a Beam connection test. This prevents support from asking you to repeat the same steps.

A useful support request contains

  • Product name and version

  • Platform and application versions

  • Exact reproduction steps

  • Expected and actual result

  • Full error message

  • Relevant screenshot, diagnostic, or log excerpt

  • Actions already attempted

Protect private information

Never include passwords, authentication tokens, API keys, Paddle payment information, private download links, or complete configuration files in a public community post. If private information is genuinely required, wait for instructions from stackswork support.
