Trace Imagine problems along the full content path: Total CMS 3 record, homepage tile, category filter, detail link, and gallery. Test on the published site with real records.
The homepage grid is empty
Check the collection used by the list, the publication state of its records, and whether each visible item has the fields required by the tile. Confirm that the project points to the intended Total CMS 3 data.
A category returns no projects
Compare the menu’s categories value with the category stored on the records. Check spelling, spaces, and capitalization. After renaming a category, update its navigation link.
A tile opens the wrong or empty detail page
Inspect the object ID in the generated link and confirm that the detail page reads the same collection as the homepage. Avoid hard-coded IDs copied from demo records.
The masonry layout leaves gaps or overlaps
Wait for images to finish loading, then test again. Check for broken image URLs and unusually shaped or very small sources. Test the same records at several viewport widths.
Images look soft or crop important content
Use adequate source dimensions and position important content away from fragile edges. Review both the masonry crop and the full detail image before changing the source.
Accessibility checks
Write meaningful image alternative text.
Keep title overlays readable against each image.
Make the menu button, category links, and project tiles keyboard accessible.
Keep visible focus states.
Use descriptive social and Contact destinations.
Do not communicate a project category through image appearance alone.
If the issue remains, email support@stackswork.com with the Imagine project version, affected collection and record ID, category value, public test URL, and the viewport where the problem appears.
