CrunchGuard is a Foundation 6 project for presenting privacy choices and holding selected third-party content until a visitor permits it. The supplied examples cover analytics code, YouTube, Google Maps, and Google Fonts.
Prepare the project
Keep the downloaded project unchanged as a backup and work from a duplicate.
Open the duplicate and resolve any missing-stack warnings.
Publish to a private test location before adapting a production site.
If the original download is no longer available, purchased products can be downloaded again through Paddle.
Understand the included structure
The project uses a CrunchGuard partial for the privacy panel and its service definitions. Cookie Jar handles the consent workflow, Pen provides the structured layout, and Raincheck placeholders can stand in for protected content.
Test the example project
Open the privacy settings panel.
Choose individual services and save the selection.
Try Decline services and Accept all.
Check the YouTube, Maps, Fonts, and Analytics examples after each choice.
Use Reset Cookie Settings and repeat the test.
Before adapting the design
Verify the unmodified workflow first. Then replace wording, links, colors, and service examples one group at a time. Privacy requirements and the accuracy of the service descriptions are the site owner’s responsibility; the project is a technical starting point, not legal advice.
