DotFlow turns text and images into a continuously moving dot-matrix banner. A DotFlow can contain multiple child items, so announcements, links, images, and dynamic updates can share one motion track.
Create a first DotFlow
Add DotFlow to the page.
Add one or more DotFlow child items.
Enter short text or place the content needed inside each item.
Set the separator that appears between repeated segments.
Enable Show Preview while arranging the page.
Keep the first test simple: use two short text items and the default visual settings. Publish a preview and confirm that the loop has no visible break before adding more content.
Choose the basic motion
Use Direction to choose the travel direction, Speed to control movement in pixels per second, and Gap to set the distance between segments. PingPong Mode creates back-and-forth movement instead of a one-way endless run.
Pause On Hover lets pointer users stop the banner temporarily. Pause Offscreen stops work while DotFlow is outside the viewport and is a useful default on longer pages.
Check the published result
Make sure text remains readable at the selected speed.
Check that separators and gaps are consistent.
Test narrow and wide layouts.
Open every link placed inside an item.
Confirm that images still communicate clearly after dot rendering.
