A stackswork Project is a complete website starter built for Stacks App with Foundation 6. It is designed to be customized, not installed like an individual Stack.
Check the requirements first
Open the product page on stackswork and review the Required Stacks section. Requirements differ by Project. Foundation 6 is the base framework, while some Projects also use the Foundation 6 Swatch Pack, Total CMS 3, or additional Stacks from Weavers.Space.
Install every required Stack before opening the Project. Missing dependencies can lead to warnings, incomplete layouts, or settings that cannot be edited correctly.
Create a working copy
Download and extract the Project package.
Keep the original package unchanged as a clean backup.
Duplicate the Project file and give the copy a name for your website.
Open the working copy in Stacks App.
Review the project-level settings, page names, website address, publishing destination, and any included documentation.
Customize safely
Replace demonstration content in small steps and preview regularly. Keep reusable styling and Foundation 6 swatches consistent instead of overriding individual elements without a reason.
Before publishing
Check navigation, forms, external links, responsive layouts, metadata, favicons, and any CMS connection used by the Project. Publish to a staging location first when the existing website must remain available.
Getting help
Include the Project name, Project version, Stacks App version, a list of installed required Stacks, and a screenshot of the problem in your support request.
