BlogClone can copy the source post’s main image and gallery along with its blog content. Both media groups are optional and can be controlled separately in the clone dialog.
Choose what to copy
Enable Copy Main Image when the new post should start with the same primary image.
Enable Copy Gallery when the source gallery should be carried into the clone.
Disable either option when the new post will use different media.
The choices affect only the new clone. They do not remove media from the source post.
Review copied media
After BlogClone redirects to the editor, check the new post before publishing it:
Confirm that the expected main image is present.
Open the gallery and check the item count and order.
Replace media that should not be reused.
Review image descriptions or alternative text for the context of the new post.
Preview the post at the sizes used by your site.
A cloned image may be technically correct but unsuitable for the new article. Update its description and presentation whenever the meaning has changed.
If media is missing
First confirm that the source post actually contains the selected media and that the correct source blog ID was used. Then check that the current BlogClone version is installed; earlier releases fixed cases where an image or gallery was not copied. If the result is still incomplete, keep the clone unpublished and use the original cms-data backup while investigating.
